SOBA Global Ltd., a blockchain-based entertainment service company. Announced that it has completed internally testing the UX and UI scenarios of the major business, the SOBA platform.

The SOBA platform is a blockchain-based entertainment NFT platform that enables the sale, purchase, and rental of digital contents such as music sources, videos, tickets, and visual contents of musicians as digital assets. The SOBA platform is being developed with the ultimate goal of a third-party platform where consumers, NFT holders, SOBA users, and suppliers, artists can freely trade.

The NFT (non-replaceable token) referred here is a type of digital card that contains unique identification information that cannot be copied and can be authenticated based on blockchain.

The SOBA platform aims to create an ecosystem that fans can directly support so that all musicians in the world can personally brand and create additional revenues. It is possible to form a bond with musicians in a different way than the existing ones, such as holding a limited edition digital photobook, participating in album production support, and sharing sound source copyrights.

An official of the SOBA platform said, “The SOBA platform has a plan to digitize all entertainment contents that musicians can produce. In this UX and UI usability test, we focused on MZ (millennial generation + Z generation) generations that are familiar with the digital environment and how much entertainment value they could enjoy through the platform.”

The SOBA platform is scheduled to be released in beta version for NFT purchases in March, and after that, the marketplace where P2P (Peer to Peer) transactions are possible, and features that allow musicians to directly issue and sell NFTs will be opened sequentially.
