SOBA Global Ltd., a blockchain-based entertainment service company, has signed a partnership with the On-Demand Layer 2 platform Tokamak Network.
The key to this partnership is the application of the Tokamak L2 (second layer) network to the SOBA platform, a major business of SOBA Global. The Tokamak network is characterized by providing a high level of scalability while guaranteeing the same level of safety as Ethereum. In addition, it is an ideal solution in that it can improve the high fees and speed issues that are pointed out as the biggest problems of the existing Ethereum mainnet.
The SOBA platform is a blockchain-based entertainment platform that enables digital contents such as artist’s music and video that are scarce to be digitalized and sold, purchased, and rented. Through the SOBA platform, fans can support the release of new albums by their favorite musicians, or they can receive dividends by owning a part of the copyright as NFT.

In addition, the SOBA project is scheduled to launch a beta service in March with Soribada, the first music streaming service in Korea, participating as a developer. SOBA Global also announced that it is planning large-scale promotions targeting 1 million members of Soribada.
